Nicole DeTore, PhD

Dr. DeTore is a clinical psychologist who’s clinical and research interests are focused on early identification and intervention of mental illnesses, social cognition, digital applications in mental health, and psychotic disorders including schizophrenia. She completed her PhD at Alliant University, her predoctoral internship at UCSD/San Diego VA, and a research fellowship at Boston University. She worked clinically with at risk-populations and those recently experiencing psychotic disorders for several years at UCLA. She has a current NIMH funded K23 aimed at developing and testing a group-based intervention in adolescents at risk for a severe mental illness and has published in several journals such as JAMA Network Open, Schizophrenia Bulletin, and Psychological Medicine. Dr. DeTore also teaches undergraduate courses at Tufts University.
