Maya Vuchic, BS
Training Coordinator
Maya graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Education and Social Policy--concentrating on Human Development--along with a second major in Sociology with a focus on Health, Medicine, and Science. She has gained experience within numerous education and nonprofit settings, focusing primarily on mentorship and high-touch intervention to support students with academic and social-emotional growth. At the MGH Center for School Behavioral Health, Maya works with Dr. Randi Schuster to train facilitators on iDECIDE, a restorative intervention to school-based substance use infractions, addressing adolescent substance use through education and empowerment. Maya is interested in research-informed program development and implementation, as well as how educational spaces shape youth understandings of physical and mental health.
