Kristina Conroy, PhD
T32 Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Stuart T. Hauser Clinical Research Training Program in Biological and Social Psychiatry
Kristina is a postdoctoral fellow at the MGH Center for Addiction Medicine. Her research focuses on collaborating with schools and other community organizations to strengthen mental health supports for youth from low-income and ethnically/racially minoritized backgrounds. She completed her doctorate degree at Florida International University and her clinical fellowship (child/adolescent focus) at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
Broadly, Kristina’s research focuses on reducing youth mental health disparities by infusing mental health supports into schools and other community settings, improving the cultural and contextual responsiveness of youth mental health supports, and addressing the mental health and wellness of key adults (e.g., teachers, caregivers) in youths' lives. Kristina has a specific focus on addressing youth anxiety, traumatic stress, and related comorbidities.
