Jackie Sweeney, MEd, BA
Training Lead
Jackie Sweeney is the Training Lead at the Center for School Behavioral Health at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she leads the development and implementation of training initiatives designed to strengthen school-based behavioral health systems and expand access to evidence-informed practices for educators and school communities.
She is a master 's-level clinician, licensed school social worker, and licensed school adjustment counselor, with professional experience spanning school-based mental health, crisis intervention, and systems implementation. Her work is grounded in building collaborative partnerships among schools, healthcare organizations, and communities to improve outcomes for children, adolescents, and families.
Jackie is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership, with a concentration in Applied Mental Health Leadership, at Merrimack College. Her doctoral research applies implementation science to school-based behavioral health systems, examining the conditions that support the effective adoption, sustainability, and impact of evidence-informed practices in schools. Her professional interests include behavioral health workforce development, multi-tiered systems of support, trauma-informed practice, and the translation of research into sustainable, equitable approaches that improve behavioral health outcomes for youth and families.
